Gairezi River
This is the beautiful Gairezi River on the slopes of Mount Nyangani. Crystal clear water, stunning birds and surprises around every bend, constantly tempting you to explore further. Vast valleys covered in yellow flowers, a deep blue sky; the place you never want to leave. The Gairezi is a place I will forever remember for its stunning beauty and serenity but also the place where I got so badly stuck in the thick, sticky red mud that I had to be towed out by a tractor – and that was in October.
