Zimbabwe in lockdown: Day 8 of 21.
So many of us in Zimbabwe have been in emotional, psychological and financial lockdown for decades and we know that to cope with fear, isolation and loneliness we have to have hope. Today my hope is that while Zimbabwe’s leaders are in lockdown with the rest of us they will think about the ordinary people whom they supposedly represent. I took this photo of a woman carrying home the firewood a couple of years ago but it could have been today because decade after decade nothing changes for ordinary Zimbabweans.
