So many of us in Zimbabwe have been in emotional, psychological and financial lockdown for two decades and we know that to cope with fear, isolation and loneliness we have to have hope. Today my hope is in the serenity and splendour of our beautiful country and that when this is over we may again become the breadbasket of Africa so that Zimbabweans never, ever have to go hungry again the way they are today.
