Zambezi Valley sunset.

Close your eyes, picture this:  the sun is almost gone, the sky is burnt orange, the evening star has just started to show itself, a pinprick of silver in the caramel glow. An orange shimmer of reflection glints in the shallow water along the Zambezi floodplain. The noises will soon come as the sky darkens: hippos, hyenas, lions, owls. Beauty and adventure is guaranteed tomorrow but for now just let the tranquility and serenity seep into your soul. I hope you will continue walking with me and reading my stories about this and other precious wild places, and about our lives in Zimbabwe, in the times to come. My final Christmas Tribute comes in my Letter From Zimbabwe tomorrow.
